it is a universal serial bus cable USB for short. all external devices use a USB cable to connect to computers now-a-days. just plug it in. it will install itself and it should open up the folder of the camera. just make a folder and highlight all pics, then click and drag them to the new folder onto the pc.

Most digital cameras come with a transfer data fire wire that plug into the USB connection, also you will need a software to do this. if you don’t let me know. There is a way to get the photos.
