Just bought a nintendo wifi usb connector and it wont work i try to install it but it keeps saying "Internet Connection Sharing error.(5) what should i do?

My wifi at home is screwed up cuz it is not the right security. So im looking for a nintendo wifi usb connector wehre can i buy one except ebay. i do know that it has been sued but is there anywehre i can find one?

i know there alot of other usb connectors out there that arent official. for example a nintendo wifi usb connector made from datel works well for the wii and ds and works with other electonics and costs the same price.

I tried every thing. But every time I try to install the Disc and plug the usb thing in, it starts doing it’s own thing and it make a local are connection. When I let it do whatever it’s doing, it says "internet connection sharring error (6)" when I stop what ever the thing is doing, it says, "please connect Nintendo WiFi USB Connector" even though I never took it out. I keep uninstalling and try re- installing but nothing works! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

i have a wireless router but i cant connect to wifi on it, nintendo say use a Nintendo wifi usb connector but i don’t know if it will let me as i already have a wireless router (witch i cant use) and if it will let me where can i buy won ?
p.s my router is a bt home-hub

On ebay I have been looking at the nintendo wifi usb connector thing. There are a few of the official ones but I don’t want to do any bidding. There are also lots of other things that are "generic" that you can buy directly with free shipping. I was wondering if anyone has ever used one like this and if it works well. Thanks.
I was only looking at these because routers were a little expensive.

Ok guys, Well tomorrow i am planning on going and buying a Nintendo wifi usb connector.

And i was wondering in order to use this do i need wireless broadband or whatever?

Right now my family computer is using hi – speed internet connected to a router connected by a dsl cord on the wall? If i put the USB in my computer wil it work ok?

Does anyone know of any nds homebrew app that I can use to browse the web with my nintendo wifi usb connector? I’ve found that only actual ds games usually work with the wifi usb, so I figured an opera browser rom would be a good idea, but I don’t have the expansion pack. Is there a patch maybe? Please help.

I have just purchased a new Nintendo WiFi USB connector. Everything installed fine, and when I bring it up and try to connect with my DS the program shows that it recognizes my DS and the "Setupis complete." But when the connection test starts, it shows three green bars on my DS and on my computer and all looks good until it stops and says Error Code: 52003, Unable to obtain IP Address. The tech support online is no help. Is my having Windows Vista causing this? I thought that if it weren’t compatible that the program wouldn’t have installed at all. Anyway, what should I do?
