I have an old PC desktop that has a single adapter vga adapter. I’d like to add a second monitor to this machine (vga). I have an open USB port and was wondering if a vga(male) to usb adapter would work or if I need a new vga card with multiple adapters. The other thing I was wondering is if off the mother board there is a 15pin male. Would that work if I gender changed the male vga that come on the new monitor’s cable?

As you can tell I only know enough to be dangerous.

Thank you for your help.
