This video shows you how to fix a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector when a DS, DSi, or Wii cannot connect. It is usually caused by Windows Firewall in Windows XP and Vista. If you have another Version of Windows some things may vary like icons and text. Please make sure you unblock the Nintendo WiFi USB Connector, on my computer it was Local Area Connection 3 to find what yours is it will say Nintendo WiFi USB Connector. You may get a message saying Your Computer is at Risk, Windows Firewall is turned off I reccomend ignoring this or getting a third-party firewall.

STEP BY STEP 1. Click Start 2. Go to Control Panel 3. Click Network and Internet 4. Then Click Network and Sharing Center 5. Go to Manage Network Connections on the left side of the page 6. Go to your Network right click go to Properties then chick continue 7. Click on the Sharing tab then click both boxes then ok 8. If a message pop up just click ok 9. But if you not Uninstall your old program bee for and do so then Reinstall the program 10. Then go to www.nintendo/NOE/en_GB/support/nintendo_ds_lite _159_131.html 11. Go to Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector and download Windows Vista 1.0.6_Final when message comes up Click Save and it will save on your computer.

Can you use a Nintendo DS Wifi USB connector for my laptop?
I have a DS Wifi Connector for USB and I have it plugged into my computer… But we don’t have a wireless router but I have a laptop with a wireless networking card in it is it possible to use the wifi from the connector for my laptop?
BTW, its running vista basic
I meant to connect the laptop to the internet through it?
Also, I can’t believe I didn’t mention it before it DOES have a connection already I use it for my DS all the time I just want to know if I can use the same connection with my laptop?
